After working in the medical field as a CNA for over 10 years, Whitney realized her compassion for helping others could expand to health and fitness. In 2010, she graduated from Seacoast Career School as a licensed massage therapist and obtained insurance through American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).
Furthering her education in Boca Raton, FL, she worked with sports performance and sports medicine professionals on collegiate football players training for the NFL combine in clinical sessions. As an accomplished member of XPE CORE Sports Bodywork, she earned her CORE Myofascial therapy certification.
Like most people, she had experienced injuries that were conventionally treated by going to a specialist, physical therapy and medication with little to temporary results. Doing research to improve her own health, she attended, Dr. Ben Benjamin's, Integrated Orthopedic Assessment and Treatment Workshop. She was elated with the knowledge Dr. Benjamin provided on treating painful conditions that affect the soft tissue of the body, which lead her to further her credentials at The Benjamin Institute in Medford, MA.
Her passion for health and fitness encouraged her to help others maintain relief from sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and everyday over-use.
Communication is key. I need to know what you're feeling, experiencing and what you're looking to gain in order to best help you. In turn, I will explain the treatment and what you can expect to gain from it.
Massage is a tool to help heal. Whether it's stress, illness or simply to pamper yourself, the benefits of massage can be life changing. I would be honored to take that journey with you.
